NASF members represent three distinct regions of the U.S.—the Northeast, South and West—each with unique geographic, social and political influences on forest management and policy.

NASF works with three affiliated organizations – the Northeastern Area Association of State Foresters (NAASF), the Southern Group of State Foresters (SGSF), and the Council of Western State Foresters (CWSF), which are focused on the specific regional priorities of state forestry agencies.

Our organizations collaborate on many regional and national issues in our policy and advocacy work.
