Coming up: Senate to vote on global warming legislation
Posted on Friday, May 30, 2008The Senate is expected to vote next week on the Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act, which aims to reduce total U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by up to 66 percent by 2050. NASF is reviewing the bill and plans to submit comments to Congressional leaders on how the legislation applies to the nation's forested ecosystems.
