Biomass: A new approach to an old power plant
In New York state, a former coal fired power generation plant is going green by converting to renewable biomass. The plant will be converted to run on wood. There is a lot of wood resource available in the forest, partly because the market for the low-value material has largely disappeared from that part of the state.
