USDA launches Hungry Pest website
The USDA has launched the Hungry Pest website to educate people about the danger of invasive species throughout the US. They describe hungry pests as invasive species that threaten to harm crops and trees. If left unchecked, they can devastate entire agricultural industries and forests, eliminating jobs, threatening our food supplies and costing billions.
The website gives users the ability to report pests and tips on what the public can do to eliminate the spread of invasive species.
