Please join us in welcoming the newest member to the NASF team, Communications Coordinator Hannah Wagner!
In her new role, Hannah is most looking forward to flexing her creativity on social media and strengthening NASF’s online presence. She will also be assisting in the administration of NASF’s three awards programs and campaign work, including the Smokey Bear wildfire prevention campaign.
Before starting with NASF earlier this week, Hannah worked as a donor communications coordinator and as a travel associate with the World Wildlife Fund. It was with WWF that she discovered her passion for sustainable land management and began honing her skills in natural resources communications. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in Media Studies and Art History and is excited to expand her understanding of forest management and its many benefits with state foresters.
Outside of work in pre-COVID times, Hannah enjoyed exploring DC’s art museums and music venues. She loves baking, nature documentaries, and travel; and currently resides in Arlington, Virginia. Want to get to know Hannah better? Strike up a conversation! Ask her about her goal to visit 30 countries by her 30th birthday.
