2018 Farm Bill Platform

Through the National Association of State Foresters’ 2018 Farm Bill policy platform, State Foresters urge leaders in Congress to prioritize the following issues:

  • Enhancement of public and private forest management;
  • Growth of community trees and public support for forestry;
  • Protection of forests from threats;
  • Expanded and diversified forest markets;
  • A strengthened role of State Foresters and Forest Action Plans.
