Arkansas Forestry Commission appoints new chair

Robert Parkes has been elected the 2014 Chairman of the Board of the Arkansas Forestry Commission (AFC). Parkes was appointed to the Board of Commissioners in 1998, and is currently serving a second term. He is the owner of Parkes Dental Clinic in Dover. NRCS announces new National Forester

Dr. Eunice Padley has joined NRCS as the National Forester, Ecological Sciences Division. Padley comes from the U.S. Forest Service, where she has been the National Soils Program Leader since 2011.
